This year, and for many years prior, Control Gap Inc. continues to be a proud supporter of Easter Seals Ontario through the Toronto Maple Leafs Skate for Easter Seals Kids.
The Toronto Maple Leafs Skate for Easter Seals Kids is a fundraising event where kids have the opportunity to skate with members of the Toronto Maple Leafs team. Participants need to reach a fundraising donation minimum of $200 in order to partake in the event, and all proceeds go towards the Easter Seals Ontario foundation which supports kids in the province with physical disabilities.
We have had the opportunity of learning about this event through a young, ambitious, and dedicated Easter Seals participant, Casey MacKay. Casey first stopped by our office in Mississauga, ON about three years ago and has continued to visit and share his enthusiasm for this event with us on an annual basis. This year, we donated to the Easter Seals Skate in support of Casey and his friend, Luke. Casey was able to surpass his initial goal of $5,000 and has decided to raise his goal to $6,500.
